AARP
wants
to hear
from
you
Dear Member,
You may be one of our members who would
like to save more money, give back to the
community, or take that dream trip. You may
be one of our members who is caring for a
spouse or parent, looking for work, or counting
on Social Security.
AARP has resources, information, and benefits
for all of these things and more.
And as you may know, AARP is your watchdog
when it comes to the important issues facing
Americans today.
This year we’re working to:
; provide relief to Social Security recipients
whose benefits were frozen this year, and
protect Social Security benefits for current
and future retirees.
; protect consumers from unfair rate hikes
by electric companies and other utility companies.
; help members save money and protect their
investments by providing information, resources,
and advice.
; protect you from Wall Street excesses,
including high fees and penalties on mortgages, credit
cards, and retirement plans.
; help job seekers find jobs through
career fairs, online resources, and tools.
I encourage you to learn more and explore the
untapped value in your AARP membership.
One of the things we pride ourselves on at
AARP is the commitment to provide information
and value to our very diverse membership.
This commitment begins with listening to you.
