our Best Actress winner. Meryl Streep collected
our award for Best Grownup Love Story (The Iron
Lady). Octavia Spencer accepted our Readers’
Choice award for The Help. The Descendants’
director, Alexander Payne, won for Best Movie.
Plus, we had stars Oscar didn’t, including Lifetime
Achievement winner Sharon Stone. She received
her award from director Martin Scorsese, who
took home our Breakthrough Achievement
